Kayavarohan Lakulish Temple (Brahmeshwar Mahadev): How to Reach

ModePointDistanceNotes
AirVadodara Airport (Harni)approx 35 kmNearest airport; Ahmedabad (approx 140 km) has far wider connectivity for outstation and international flyers.
TrainMiyagam Karjan Junctionapprox 14 kmClosest usable junction; Vadodara Junction (approx 30 km) is the major railhead with taxis and autos. A small Kayavarohan halt (code KV) exists on the local line but has sparse service.
RoadVadodara cityapprox 30 km30 to 40 minute drive. Taxis, app cabs and GSRTC/shared jeeps run toward Dabhoi and Karjan; the last stretch is a village road, so private vehicle is easiest.

The approach matters here because the last leg is village road, not highway. Kayavarohan lies about 11 km off National Highway 48, so cars turn off near Por and run in through farmland to the tirth. A private vehicle or hired taxi is by far the smoothest option, and there is spacious parking on site.

By rail, the geography is slightly awkward. Miyagam Karjan Junction is the nearest at around 14 km, and there is even a tiny Kayavarohan halt on the local narrow-line network, but service is thin, so serious travellers still route through Vadodara Junction, about 30 km north, then take a cab or shared jeep toward Dabhoi and Karjan.

Fly-in visitors land at Vadodara's Harni airport, roughly 35 km away, or use Ahmedabad about 140 km away for wider connectivity. Because the Statue of Unity and Poicha's Nilkanthdham are each only about 35 km on, many people fold Kayavarohan into a single loop out of Vadodara.
