Koyla Dungar sits on one of Gujarat's richest pilgrim coasts, so it pairs naturally with bigger names to the north and south. Head up the shore and you reach Dwarka, Krishna's legendary capital and one of the Char Dham, where the Dwarkadhish temple towers over the Gomti. Close to it is Nageshwar, counted among the twelve Jyotirlingas of Shiva, an easy add-on to a Dwarka day.
Run south and east down the Saurashtra coast and you come to Somnath, the first of the Jyotirlingas, endlessly rebuilt on the shore at Prabhas Patan. Many devotees thread Harsiddhi Mata into a longer coastal yatra that strings these Shakti and Shiva seats together along a single highway.
The local pairing worth knowing is with the Harshad Mata temple at Gandhvi and Harshad, on the Devbhumi Dwarka side of the same headland; the two goddesses are closely linked in legend and in the devotion of coastal communities, and pilgrims often visit both on the same trip.
