The pleasant window from October to March is the best time to visit, when Saurashtra's heat eases and the campus and its gardens are comfortable to explore. Being a Khodiyar shrine, Navratri (September-October) is the devotional summit, with nine nights of Devi worship, garba energy and swelling crowds.
The other landmark date is 21 January, the Patotsav or foundation anniversary of the 2017 pran-pratishtha, a major community occasion for the Leuva Patel Samaj. Khodiyar Jayanti, around Maha Sud Aatham (approx January-February), brings special aarti and prasad. If you prefer a calm darshan, weekday mornings outside these festivals are quietest.
