TrainDwarka Railway StationApprox 17 kmDwarka is on the Ahmedabad to Okha broad-gauge line with trains from Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Mumbai. Take an auto or shared taxi onward to the temple.
AirJamnagar AirportApprox 130 kmNearest airport with regular flights (Mumbai, Delhi and other metros). Porbandar Airport is closer at approx 107 km but has fewer flights. Rajkot is the larger hub further east.
RoadDwarka townApprox 16 to 18 kmAutos, private taxis and tour cabs run the short hop from Dwarka. Many combine Nageshwar with Bet Dwarka, Gopi Talav and Rukmini Temple in a half-day loop.

Nageshwar is engineered around Dwarka as a base, and the geography is simple once you picture the coast. The temple sits on NH 947, the ribbon of road that runs north from Dwarka town toward Okha and the Bet Dwarka jetty. That means the temple slots naturally into a north-of-Dwarka loop with Gopi Talav, the Rukmini Devi Temple and the Bet Dwarka boat crossing, rather than being an out-and-back detour.

From Dwarka the cheapest option is a shared auto or a jeep running the Okha road; a private taxi gives you the flexibility to stitch the whole loop together in a morning. Because the leg is short, many drivers quote a round trip with waiting time built in, which is worth it given how little transport idles outside the temple for the return.

For long-haul arrivals, Dwarka Railway Station is the practical gateway, well connected to Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Jamnagar and Mumbai. Flyers should aim for Jamnagar for the widest choice of flights, with Porbandar a nearer but thinner option and Rajkot a bigger hub further inland. None of the airports is close enough to skip the road leg, so budget a few hours from any of them to the temple gate.
