The nearest station is the narrow-gauge Jwalamukhi Road (Ranital) halt, about 20 km out on the slow, scenic Pathankot to Jogindernagar toy-train line, charming but not fast. Serious rail travellers from Delhi, Amritsar or the plains usually alight at Pathankot Junction, roughly 120 km away (approx), and drive or bus in from there.
By air, the closest strip is Kangra (Gaggal) Airport near Dharamshala, about 46 km away (approx), with limited flights mainly from Delhi. When those are full or pricey, pilgrims fall back on Chandigarh or Amritsar airports, both around 200 km out, and continue by taxi or the reliable HRTC bus network.
