Chamundeshwari runs on a classic three-session hill-temple clock. The sanctum opens early, roughly 7:30 AM, for the first stretch of general darshan that lasts until about 2:00 PM, when the doors close for a midday break and the goddess is offered naivedya. A second window reopens around 3:30 PM and runs to about 6:00 PM, followed by a night session from roughly 7:30 to 9:00 PM. Tuesdays and Fridays, sacred to the Devi, draw noticeably bigger queues even on ordinary weeks.
Be aware that the temple does not publish its minute-by-minute schedule as consistently as some larger South Indian shrines, so the times above are the widely reported pattern rather than a stone-carved guarantee.
