Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha Temple: Nearby Temples & Tirths

Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha: Nearby Temples & TirthsShri Kshetra Dharmasthala Manjunatha sits within reach of Kukke Subramanya, Udupi Sri Krishna Matha, Mookambika, Kollur, so most pilgrims combine them into one trip.

Dharmasthala sits at the heart of a natural temple circuit through the Western Ghats and the Karnataka coast. The obvious next stop is Kukke Subramanya, about 55 km away, the famous Naga (serpent) shrine where pilgrims come for Sarpa Samskara and Naga Dosha remedies; the two are almost always paired on a single trip.

Beyond that, the coast opens up. Udupi's Sri Krishna Matha, roughly 100 km on, is the seat of Madhwacharya's Dvaita tradition, famous for darshan of Krishna through the silver Kanakana Kindi window. Further into the Ghats, the Devi shrine of Mookambika at Kollur, around 145 km, completes the classic Dharmasthala to Kukke to Kollur pilgrim loop. All three share the same Tulunadu and coastal Karnataka spiritual world that Dharmasthala belongs to.
