Becharaji lies on the flat Chunval plain west of Mehsana, and almost everyone arrives by road. From Ahmedabad the drive is about 105 to 110 km via Mehsana or the Kadi route, typically two and a half to three hours. State transport (GSRTC) and private operators run regular buses, and the town's GSRTC stand is only a few hundred metres from the shrine.

Rail travellers face a small quirk: Becharaji has its own station barely a kilometre from the temple, but it sees limited service. For reliable connections, Mehsana Junction, about 35 km away, is the working rail head, with taxis and buses onward to the temple. The nearest airport is Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International, roughly 105 to 110 km away, from where a hired car is the most comfortable option.

Because Modhera's Sun Temple is only about 25 km away, a very common itinerary pairs the two in a single day out of Ahmedabad or Mehsana, adding the Solanki-era monument to a morning darshan at Bahuchar Mata.
