Dwarkadhish keeps a full Vaishnava seva cycle, with the deity attended through a sequence of aartis and offerings from the pre-dawn Mangla to the late Shayan that puts the Lord to bed. Between them come the shringar, when the idol is freshly dressed and ornamented, the mid-morning gwal, and the Rajbhog around midday, the grand food offering after which the temple soon closes for the afternoon.
The evening Sandhya aarti is the one no pilgrim should miss. As dusk settles over the Gomti and the lamps are lit, the sanctum fills with bells, conch and song, and the crowd presses close for the darshan of the dark, richly dressed Dwarkadhish. Times drift by a few minutes with the season and with festival load, so treat the schedule as indicative and aim to be inside and settled ten to fifteen minutes before an aarti begins rather than arriving on the dot.
