| Mode | Point | Distance | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Train | Dwarka Railway Station | approx. 2 km | On the Ahmedabad-Okha line; direct trains from Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Jamnagar and long-distance services. Auto from station to temple is a short ride. |
| Air | Jamnagar Airport (JGA) | approx. 130 km | Nearest airport; limited flights. Rajkot (Hirasar) international airport is roughly 230 km. Both connect onward by road or rail. |
| Road | From Jamnagar / Rajkot | approx. 130 km / 230 km | State highways run to Dwarka; Ahmedabad is roughly 440 km. GSRTC and private buses serve the town. |
Dwarka is literally the end of the line, the western terminus of the broad-gauge route that runs out from Ahmedabad through Rajkot and Jamnagar toward Okha. That makes the train the natural way in: overnight and daytime services drop you barely 2 km from the sanctum, and the town is small enough that autos, shared rickshaws and even a walk cover the rest. Okha, the jumping-off point for Bet Dwarka by boat, is a further short hop up the same line.
By air the options are thinner. Jamnagar is the closest airport at roughly 130 km but has only limited flights; many travellers instead fly into Rajkot's newer Hirasar airport around 230 km away, or into Ahmedabad, and continue by road or rail. Drivers should note the distances are real Saurashtra distances: budget three hours or more from Jamnagar and a long half day from Ahmedabad, and prefer daylight for the final coastal stretch.
