For plain comfort, come between October and February, when Saurashtra is cool and dry and long temple days are pleasant rather than punishing. The pre-monsoon months from March to June turn harsh and hot, and while the monsoon greens the Ghela riverbank, humidity and occasional disruption make it a less reliable window for a devotional visit.
