Kukke Subramanya Temple: Nearby Temples & Tirths

Kukke Subramanya: Nearby Temples & TirthsKukke Subramanya sits within reach of Dharmasthala Manjunatha, Udupi Sri Krishna Matha, Kollur Mookambika, so most pilgrims combine them into one trip.

Kukke slots neatly into the wider Dakshina Kannada and coastal Karnataka temple circuit, so most pilgrims chain it with two or three others. The closest heavyweight is Dharmasthala (approx 60-65 km), the Manjunatha Shiva temple run on a unique Jain-administered dharma model and famous for its vast free annadana; the two are frequently done back to back.

Farther out on the coast, Udupi Sri Krishna Matha (approx 100-110 km) is the Madhva heartland shrine where Krishna is viewed through the silver Navagraha window, and Kollur Mookambika (approx 150 km) is the Ghats Devi temple that rounds out a classic Karnataka pilgrimage loop. All three distances are approximate road figures and depend on the exact route through the Ghats, but any of them makes a natural extension of a Kukke trip rather than a separate journey.
