Kollur is an inland village in the Kodachadri foothills, so every approach ends with a road leg through the Western Ghat greenery. On the railway side the coastal Konkan line is your friend: Byndoor Mookambika Road is the nearest halt at roughly 25 km and even carries the temples name, while Kundapura, about 35 km, and Udupi and Mangaluru junctions further south give more long-distance trains. From any of these you pick up a bus, shared taxi or private cab for the final stretch.

By air, Mangaluru International Airport at Bajpe is the practical gateway at about 135 km, a three to four hour drive up the coast and inland. By road, Udupi is the common base at around 80 km, Mangaluru around 135 km, and Bengaluru around 450 km with overnight KSRTC and private buses running directly to Kollur. Many pilgrims fold Kollur into a coastal loop with Udupi, Murudeshwar and Gokarna. Treat the station names and all distances here as approximate and reconfirm the current nearest-station halts before you book, since stops on the Konkan line change.
