Four aartis frame worship at Shirdi and following them is the deepest way to experience the shrine. Kakad aarti wakes Baba before dawn around 4:30 AM and is followed by the Mangal Snaan, a symbolic bathing at the samadhi. Madhyan aarti falls near noon, Dhoop aarti is timed to sunset, and Shej aarti around 10:30 PM puts Baba to rest for the night. Between and around them the Dhuni fire in Dwarkamai is tended and ghee is offered late morning.

To stand inside the sanctum during an aarti you need a paid aarti pass, roughly Rs 600 for Kakad and about Rs 400 for each of the others, released in advance on online.sai.org.in with tight daily limits that sell out on busy dates. If you do not hold a pass you can still have free darshan in the general queue outside the aarti slots, and many pilgrims simply time their visit to the quieter stretches between the four rituals. Arrive early for any aarti; the sanctum caps how many bodies it can hold.
