TrainPandharpur Railway Stationapprox 2 kmOn the Kurduwadi to Miraj line with daily passenger and express trains; auto-rickshaws run to the temple. For more connections use Kurduwadi Junction (approx 52 km) or Solapur (approx 76 km).
AirPune Airport (nearest major); Kolhapur Airportapprox 210 km / approx 180 kmPune has the widest network; Kolhapur is closer but has fewer flights. Both are a 4 to 5 hour road transfer.
Road (bus)Pandharpur ST Bus Standapprox 1 to 2 kmMSRTC buses connect Solapur, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli and Mumbai; private and shared taxis are plentiful, especially in festival season.
Road (car)From Solapur / Pune / MumbaiSolapur approx 76 km, Pune approx 210 km, Mumbai approx 360 kmSolapur is the quickest big-city drive (about 2 hours). Roads get heavily congested and diverted on Ekadashi days.

Pandharpur is genuinely inland, roughly equidistant from Pune and Kolhapur and closest to Solapur, so there is no single obvious gateway. The town has its own railway station about 2 km from the temple on the Kurduwadi to Miraj line, with daily passenger and express services; if your train does not stop there, alight at Kurduwadi Junction (approx 52 km) or Solapur (approx 76 km) and continue by bus or taxi.

By air, Pune Airport (approx 210 km) has the widest network and is the practical choice for most out-of-state pilgrims, though Kolhapur (approx 180 km) is marginally closer with fewer flights. Either way budget a four to five hour road transfer. By bus, MSRTC and private operators run frequently from Solapur, Pune, Kolhapur, Sangli and Mumbai (approx 360 km) into the Pandharpur ST stand near the temple.

One caution: on Ekadashi and during the palkhi season the approach roads and the town itself are heavily diverted and choked. Local authorities close vehicle access near the temple, run park-and-walk arrangements, and it can be faster to base in Solapur and travel in for darshan than to fight the traffic on the day.
