For weather, October to March is the sweet spot in Braj, with cool, clear evenings ideal for the fountain show and the long walk through the gardens. April to June is fiercely hot, so plan around the evening session and carry water; the monsoon that follows greens the lawns but brings humidity and occasional downpours.

Janmashtami, Krishna's birth in August or September, is the biggest night of the year across Vrindavan and Prem Mandir is spectacularly lit and packed.
