Worship at Eklingji is frequent, but not all of it is open to the public. Through the day priests perform aartis at roughly 5:30 am, 8:15 and 9:15 am, 11:30 am, 3:30 and 4:30 pm, and 5:00 and 6:30 pm. Several of these, notably the 8:15, 9:15, 3:30 and 4:30 slots, fall inside the closed blocks and are conducted behind shut doors.

For darshan-goers, the ones you can actually attend are the 5:30 am opening aarti, the 11:30 am aarti during the late-morning block, and the two evening aartis at 5:00 and 6:30 pm. The evening aarti is the one to aim for: the four-faced black idol is lit up, the silver sanctum doors stand open, and the small hall fills with bells and chanting. Arrive fifteen to twenty minutes early, because the space is compact and fills quickly once the doors open.
