The temple stands in Kailashpuri village, about 22 km north of Udaipur on the four-lane NH-48 that continues to Nathdwara. A taxi from the City Palace area takes 35 to 45 minutes; autos will go but negotiate the fare. The cheapest option is any Nathdwara-bound RSRTC or private bus from Udaipur's Udiapole bus stand, which drops you at the Kailashpuri turn a short walk from the gate.

There is no station or airstrip at the village itself. Udaipur City Railway Station, roughly 22 km away, is the nearest railhead, linked to Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Chittaurgarh and Ahmedabad. The nearest airport is Maharana Pratap (Dabok), about 40 km out, with flights from Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur and a pre-paid taxi counter. Because Eklingji, the ancient Nagda Sas-Bahu temples and Nathdwara's Shrinathji all sit along the same highway, hiring a car for a half-day loop is the smartest way to see the cluster.
