The practical gateway is Ringas Junction, about 17 km from Khatu on the Jaipur-Sikar railway line. Step off the train and you meet a scrum of shared jeeps and taxis whose whole business is the Khatu run; it is the cheapest and most authentic last leg. By air, Jaipur International Airport sits about 80 km away, from where a hired car or a Sikar-bound bus with a change gets you in.

By road, Khatu is an easy day trip from Jaipur, roughly 80 km and about two hours via NH-52 towards Sikar, turning off near Reengus. Sikar town, the district headquarters some 45 km away, also feeds frequent buses and jeeps. One caveat that catches first-timers: during the Phalgun Mela private vehicles are halted well outside town and the final stretch is covered on foot along with lakhs of other pilgrims, so budget hours, not minutes, for arrival.
