The midday Bhog Aarti (around 11:15/11:30 AM) closes the sanctum for the noon offering.

The evening Sapt Rishi Aarti (7:00 PM), named for the seven sages, is the emotional high point for many devotees and the other aarti most worth pre-booking. It is followed by the Shringar/Bhog Aarti at 9:00 PM, when the lingam is adorned, and finally the Shayan Aarti at 10:30 PM, when Shiva is put to rest and the temple closes.

One clarification pilgrims often need: the temple aartis inside the sanctum are separate from the famous Ganga Aarti performed nightly at Dashashwamedh Ghat by the river. Many visitors do both in an evening, walking from the ghat's lamp ceremony to the Sapt Rishi Aarti or vice versa. Aarti tickets are distinct from the free general-darshan queue.
