Three aartis structure the day at the Brahma Temple, and all three are timed to the sun. Mangala Aarti, the first worship, is performed well before dawn, roughly two hours before sunrise, when the deity is woken and dressed. It is a quiet, devotional hour attended mostly by early pilgrims and sadhus.

Sandhya Aarti follows at dusk, about forty minutes after sunset, and is the ceremony most visitors try to catch. Lamps, bells and chanting fill the marble hall as the day's worship comes to its high point; if you can only attend one aarti, make it this one. The final rite, Ratri Shayan Aarti, comes several hours after sunset, before the deity is put to rest for the night.

Because the schedule tracks sunrise and sunset, the clock times slide through the seasons and are earlier in summer, later in winter. There is no ticketed VIP aarti here; darshan and aarti are open to all, though the sanctum-entry custom for the innermost shrine still applies. Arrive a little ahead of the aarti to find a spot in the outer hall.
