Brahma Temple, Pushkar: Nearby Temples & Tirths

Brahma: Nearby Temples & TirthsBrahma sits within reach of Govind Dev Ji Temple, Jaipur, Khatu Shyam Ji, Salasar Balaji, so most pilgrims combine them into one trip.

Pushkar itself is dense with shrines, but for a wider Rajasthan pilgrim circuit the Brahma Temple pairs naturally with the state's most visited devotional sites, all reachable as day trips or overnight legs. Govind Dev Ji in Jaipur, about 145 km east, enshrines Krishna as Govind Dev inside the City Palace complex and is one of Rajasthan's most beloved Vaishnav temples, thronged at every aarti.

To the northeast, Khatu Shyam Ji in Sikar district, roughly 140 km away, is a phenomenon in its own right, drawing vast crowds of devotees of Shyam Baba (Krishna in the form of Barbarika). Not far beyond, Salasar Balaji in Churu, about 160 km, is a major Hanuman dham known for its unusual bearded Balaji idol and continuous stream of pilgrims.

Each of these makes sense as a separate journey rather than a same-day add-on from Pushkar, given the distances. Many travellers string Pushkar together with Jaipur first, then push north to the Khatu Shyam and Salasar shrines, treating the Brahma Temple as the spiritual anchor at the desert end of the route.
