The Brahma Temple keeps two daily windows with a long midday rest. In the cooler months, roughly October to March, the doors open around 6:30 AM and close near 8:30 PM; in summer they open earlier, around 6 AM, and stay open later, to about 9 PM. The sanctum shuts in the afternoon, roughly 1:30 to 3 PM, when the deity rests and priests break, so plan darshan for the morning or the late afternoon into evening.
Because the ritual day is anchored to the sun rather than a fixed clock, the exact opening and the aarti times drift through the year. Treat the posted hours as approximate and, if you are travelling far, confirm on the day. The most reliable plan is to arrive an hour or so after dawn for a calm morning darshan, or come back for the Sandhya Aarti at dusk, which is the most atmospheric moment at the shrine.
During Kartik Purnima and the Pushkar Fair the rhythm changes entirely. The temple fills from before first light, queues stretch through the bazaar, and the midday lull is far shorter in practice. If you visit in fair week, go very early and keep expectations realistic about waiting time.
