The kindest months to visit are October through March, when the desert climate around Churu is cool and dry and the great fairs frame the season. Summer, roughly April to June, is punishingly hot and dusty and best avoided for a comfortable darshan. Whatever the month, Tuesdays and Saturdays are Hanuman's weekdays and pull the heaviest weekly crowds, with special aartis and much longer queues.
