| Mode | Point | Distance | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|

| Road from Sikar | Sikar city | approx 55-60 km | Frequent buses and taxis; the common approach from the Jaipur side. |
| Road from Jaipur | Jaipur | approx 170 km | Roughly 3.5 to 4 hours by car via Sikar; direct pilgrim buses run daily. |
| Road from Bikaner | Bikaner | approx 170 km | Approach from the desert side via Sujangarh. |
Salasar has no railway station or airport of its own, so every journey ends with a short road leg. The nearest usable railhead is Sujangarh, roughly 24 to 30 km away, from where taxis and buses run steadily to the temple gate. If your train does not stop at Sujangarh, aim for Sikar Junction, about 55 to 60 km on the Jaipur side, or Ratangarh; both are larger stations with more services and onward transport.
For flyers, Jaipur International Airport, about 170 to 180 km away, is the practical gateway, with the option of Kishangarh (Ajmer) airport at roughly 150 km if a convenient flight exists. From either you continue by hired car or bus.
By road Salasar is genuinely well connected because of the sheer pilgrim volume. It lies on the old Jaipur-Bikaner road, about 170 km from Jaipur (3.5 to 4 hours via Sikar) and a similar distance from Bikaner on the desert side. Direct pilgrim buses and shared jeeps run daily from Sikar, Jaipur, Bikaner and other Shekhawati towns, and many devotees combine the trip with Khatu Shyam. All the distances quoted here are approximate road figures, so budget a little buffer for detours and fair-day traffic.
