There is no truly quiet season at Tirumala, but there is a comfortable one. The cooler, drier months from about October to February are the most pleasant on the hill, though they also hold the biggest festivals and the densest crowds, so comfort and calm pull in opposite directions. As a rule, weekdays beat weekends, and any stretch outside a festival window and school holidays gives you a shorter queue.
