Dakor Ranchhodrai Temple (Shree Ranchhodraiji Maharaj Mandir): Aarti & Puja Schedule

Dakor Ranchhodrai: Aarti & Puja ScheduleThe rhythm follows the Vaishnav bhog sequence, with the deity bathed, dressed, fed and rested through the day.
  • Mangla Aarti (temple opens, first darshan of the day)6:45 AM
  • Balbhog, Shringar Bhog and Gwal Bhog darshanapprox. 9:00 to 10:30 AM
  • Rajbhog Aarti and darshan, then the sanctum closesapprox. 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Uthapan (deity woken, evening darshan resumes)4:00 PM
  • Sandhya (evening) Aartiapprox. 6:30 PM
  • Shakhdi Bhog, Shayan darshan and closing7:30 PM

The bhog and aarti sequence at Dakor mirrors the classic ashtayam (eight-watch) seva of Krishna worship, compressed into the temple's open hours. Mangla Aarti at 6:45 AM is the emotional high of the morning, the moment the curtain first parts and the black-stone Ranchhodrai is revealed freshly bathed. Balbhog follows as a gentle first food offering, then Shringar, when the deity is dressed and jewelled, and Gwal Bhog.

Rajbhog, near 11:30 AM, is the royal midday meal offering and the last darshan before the noon closure, so it draws a heavier morning crowd. In the evening, the Sandhya Aarti around 6:30 PM is the counterpart to Mangla, a lamp-lit act of thanks as the day winds down, before Shakhdi Bhog and the Shayan darshan close the temple at 7:30 PM.

Because each ritual is tied to the deity's daily life rather than the clock, the exact minutes flex a little with the season and swell on festival days. If a specific aarti matters to you, arrive fifteen to twenty minutes early and position yourself for a clear line of sight, as the sanctum fills quickly once the curtain moves.
