The Dakor day is built around the Vaishnav seva cycle rather than fixed tourist hours, which is why the schedule breaks into two clean halves. The morning opens with Mangla Aarti at 6:45 AM, when the deity is woken and shown for the first time, and moves through Balbhog (a light early offering), Shringar (adornment) and Gwal Bhog before the grand Rajbhog around 11:30 AM. After the Rajbhog darshan the doors close at noon.

The long midday closure, 12 PM to 4 PM, is not a lunch break for staff but part of the ritual: the deity is considered to rest, and no darshan happens. Evening begins with Uthapan at 4 PM and builds to the Sandhya Aarti near 6:30 PM, closing with Shakhdi Bhog and Shayan (the deity put to sleep) by 7:30 PM.

For a first visit, target either the 9 to 11:30 AM window, when the full sequence of morning bhogs can be seen, or the 6 to 7:30 PM evening arc for the Sandhya Aarti. On Poonam and festival days these times stretch and queues run in managed batches, so always confirm locally before a festival trip.
