Mansa Devi is one point of Haridwar's Siddh Peeth triangle. Its natural pair is Chandi Devi, perched on Neel Parvat across the Ganga and reached by its own ropeway; pilgrims routinely do both in a day, often on a combined ropeway-plus-bus ticket, and complete the trio with Maya Devi in the old town. Together they form the classic Devi circuit of Haridwar.
Haridwar is also the traditional launch point for the Garhwal Himalaya. Many who tie a thread at Mansa Devi are on their way deeper into the mountains, toward the Shiva Jyotirlinga at Kedarnath and Vishnu's shrine at Badrinath, both several hours further up the Char Dham road. That mix, an intimate hilltop Devi shrine at the doorstep of the high Himalayan pilgrimage, is a large part of why the temple stays busy all year.
